June 8, 2017 – A very happy World Oceans Day from the CLME+ Project Coordination Unit on behalf of all the Project’s members.
We take this opportunity to remind the unique biodiversity of the Caribbean region and the importance of the ocean for its people, their livelihoods as well as for their well-being. International and regional Organisations are working together via the UNDP/GEF CLME+ Project towards the sustainable management of living marine resources of the Caribbean and North Brazil Shelf Large Marine Ecosistems.
A global CLME+ Alliance & Partnership is being mobilised so that partners from the international community can participate in the implementation of the Strategic Action Programme catalised by the CLME+ Project.
